about

This first tune, a slow jig march, has long been associated with pipers and harpers. It is tune #1803 in O’Neill’s Music of Ireland published in Chicago in 1903.

Julia Clifford’s was learnt from the playing of Julia Clifford (1914-1997), the great fiddler from the Sliabh Luachra region in County Kerry.
